FERMATA conducted a detailed inventory and assessment of the natural resource-based tourism offerings in the three regions. Cultural and historical offerings that are connected to natural resources that enrich visitor experiences by framing the experience within the natural world were also assessed. FERMATA analyzed gaps in tourism product offerings in the three regions and assessed the feasibility of creating additional products that reflect the regional identity and community appropriateness, and inventoried lodging, dining, outfitting, and guiding services in the three regions.
