Problem Addressed: 1979 Aerial Spraying Against Spruce Budworm in Quebec and Forecast for 1980.
Key Findings: Spray program gave satisfactory results over 96% of the treated area; the application was done late but the populations were not very high (11 larvae/45cm branch and the delay had no bad consequence.

Aerial Spraying Program Against the Gypsy Moth

Problem Addressed: Gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar)
Key Findings: The biological repression program was a total success. The residual egg mass populations are significant as to the result of the spraying. No control program will be carried out in 1980 in Quebec.

Aerial Spraying Against the Spruce Budworm in Quebec in 1975 and Plans for 1976

Problem Addressed: Spruce Budworm infestation has spread so much in Quebec in the last two years that it is no longer possible to spray all the balsam and spruce stands that would need to be treated
Key Findings: Results of sprayings are satisfactory, considering the fact that the Spruce Budworm larvae have reached in 1975 population levels that had ever been recorded in the previous infestation
