Goal(s)/Objective(s): Presents sample size -- precision relationships for use in estimating budworm-caused tree mortality, which were derived from data collected over a 5-year period from 25 plots on the Cape Breton Highlands, Nova Scotia.

Key Findings: Results will assist in choosing the type and number of plots required for a specific precision level in future studies determining stand characteristics or budworm-caused tree mortality.
