An investigation was conducted to determine the effects of using quaking aspen, eastern hemlock, and balsam fir with eastern spruce in fabricating structural plywood. Primary interest was placed on the influence these species had on selected mechanical properties of eastern spruce plywood and the gluability of those species with spruce wood.
