An investigation was conducted to determine the technical feasibility of producing composite plywood using quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides Michx.) for a face and core material. The composite plywood panels produced in the investigation were intended to be competitive in the sheathing grade plywood market. The effects of core flake thickness, core flake orientation, and wax addition on panel properties were determined.
