The aerial spray model will provide estimates of the spray project's total operating cost, the number of spray teams required, the hours of flying time by aircraft type and airfield, and a detailed report listing the airfield and aircraft type recommended to each spray block. The following data is required: location of the spray blocks and airfields, aircraft cost and flying characteristics, block acreage, insecticide application rate and swath width. The model can be run on the B-22 microcomputer available in the spruce budworm office.
