The land-use, biological, and hunter related aspects of the deer harvests in a portion of eastern Maine were investigated. The study period extended from December, 1964 to April, 1965. The objectives were to investigate factors related to deer harvests, and to isolate those elements responsible for the low deer harvests in a 21-township portion of eastern Maine.
