A series of maps showing spruce budworm infestations from 1909 to 1966 arc presented. The maps were prepared from a variety of sources but chiefly from the records of the Forest Insect and Disease Survey. Areas which have been sprayed are identified on the maps. It is suggested that budworm outbreaks occur over very large areas and that only one complete and one partial outbreak have occurred during the period mapped.
