The 2010 Directory of Maine’s Primary Wood Processors is a comprehensive listing of all facilities in the state that convert roundwood into finished products. The Directory is intended to help businesses and individuals make informed decisions by providing a resource for both buyers and sellers of wood, forest products, and manufacturing-related byproducts. Such information is important in building awareness and establishing communication between mills, loggers, and landowners. It is also critical in realizing the highest value from our forest resources, and in assisting individuals in locating new processing facilities that rely on raw or processed inputs, or produce secondary forest products.
