The purpose of the study was to evaluate the accuracy of the PCB immunoassay data that are being generated by the regulated community and to investigate the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) regulations and policies concerning the use of immunoassay technology to determine the concentration of PCBs in soil.
