A stream was injected with aminocarb and the effects on aquatic arthropods were noted. Neither the commercial oil solution emulsified and injected into a stream at 4.7 ug/L for 1.5 h followed 1.5 h later by 13.7 ug/L for I h nor an emulsifiable concentrate injected at 2,5 ug/t f or 1.5 h followed I h later by 15.B ug/L f or 1.25 h was enough to affect survival or drift of aquatic invertebrates. Although the dosage in streamwater that causes nortality is unknown, there is no evidence of hazard to stream benthos from aerial sprays up to 88 g/ha nor from two consecutive sprays at 70 g/ha.
