An investigation was conducted in central Maine (1977-1980) to (1) construct life tables for the white pine weevil, Pissodes strobi (Peck), a pest insect of eastern white pine, Pinus strobus L.; and (2) describe the temporal-spatial activity patterns of adult weevils during the spring, fall, and winter periods.
