This multidisciplinary compilation of 18 research reports concerns primarily the environmental monitoring of the spruce budworm and the forest herbicide aerial spray operations in New Brunswick in 1987. The 33 authors report on the operational, research, and regulatory aspects of both spray programs. The pesticides investigated are: insecticides aminocarb, fenitrothion, and Bacillus thuringiensis and herbicides glyphosate, hexazinone, sulfometuron-methyl, and metsulfuron-methyl.
