This study was undertaken following a request by the Canadian wildlife Service in February 1976 for a review of the impact of forest insecticides on non-target species. Part I summarizes and evaluates the studies we have reviewed the extent of the evaluations depending on the amount of data. Part 2 is an annotated bibliography of studies completed before January 1977. Since many of the unpublished studies are, or soon will be, unavailable, we have included tables of data on which the authors' conclusions are based when they seemed particularly noteworthy. The bibliography lists studies alphabetically by author. An index, cross- referencing the studies by chemical and non-target groups, is also included.
