Zeiraphera ratzeburgiana (Ratz.) is commonly found in stands of white spruce in eastern North America. The present study deals with the life cycle and behavior of this insect and includes notes on its natural control in Quebec. Brief descriptions are given of some of the immature stages not previously dealt with.
