This multi-disciplinary compilation of 54 summary reports concerns the environmental monitoring of the aerial spray operations over New Brunswick in 1978 (1.5 million ha) and 1979 (1.6 million ha). Its 42 authors report of insecticide ecology in fir spruce forests and associated ecosystems, including studies on songbirds and squirrels, predaceous and parasitic insects, pollinators, freshwater fauna, toxicology, insecticide analysis, insecticide transport, persistence and contamination.
