At the core of any discussion of the timber which we grow are three vital concepts. They are the End Use of the Raw Material, the Supply of the Raw Material, and the Nature of the Raw Material. In this discussion meeting we are considering timber produced from an afforestation program among the objectives of which we find reference to both the most economic methods of producing desirable timber and to the role which that timber will play in import substitution.
