Severe losses may be expected if the following materials are used when bees are present at treatment time on within a few days thereafter. There are some exceptions due to weather, time of application and dosage applied. Most of these materials are not used in ways that commonly bring them into contact with honeybees in Maine. MaLathion and Sevin pose the greatest potential for problem to Maine beekeepers.
