Relationships between environmental conditions and distribution of common goldeneyes (Bucephala clanqula) in 1983-85. The influence of environment, sex, age and paired status on wintering in Maine were studied behavior of common goldeneyes was also investigated. I used censuses to determine distributions, focal animal sampling to quantify behavior, and habitat and weather characteristics to describe environmental conditions.
