Interspecific relationships among coyotes (Canis Latrans), bobcats (Lynx rufus), and red foxes (Vulpes fulva) were examined in western Maine between 1979-82. Habitat selection, spatial relationships, and activity patterns were determined through radio-telemetry of 9 coyotes, 10 bobcats, and 4 foxes. Similarity in niche parameters between pairs of furbearer species was compared using overlap indices.
